Emil W. "Dee" Michalczik age 58, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2012 following an extended illness.
He was born in Erie on March 9, 1954, son of the late Emil and Virginia Walter Michalczik.
He was a 1972 graduate of Strong Vincent High School.
Emil owned and operated EWM Telemarketing for over 30 years.
He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. Emil was a die hard Cleveland Browns fan and was a season ticket holder. He also enjoyed playing cards.
Emil is survived by his wife of 36 years, Patricia Smock Michalczik; a son, Emil W. Michalczik III; a daughter Heather Jacoboski; a stepson Christopher Jacoboski; a brother Edward H. Michalczik and his wife Vicki; a niece Melissa "Teen Angel" Sulkowski; two nephews, Todd Michalczik and Edward Michalczik Jr.; five grandchildren: Austin, Brian "Oogie", Hunner, Emil IV, and Chloe Marie.
Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell ave) on Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend services there on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. with Rev. Roy P. Washill officiating.
