Elmerdeen E. Goss Entley, 91, died Thursday, August 11, 2011 at St. Mary's East. Formerly of 523 W. 29th St. & 2659 Willowood Dr. She was born Dec. 19, 1919 in Youngsville, PA, daughter of the late John and Margie Dill Goss.
A longtime resident of Erie, she worked for Marx Toy Company for 28 years retiring in 1980. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and was a volunteer there and at the Barber National Institute. She enjoyed camping and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Elbert J. Entley in 2000; and by two brothers, Woodrow and George Goss.
Survivors include a daughter, Margie Ruth Entley of Erie; and many nieces, nephews and cousins, including Janice Moskel, Pauline R. Ramus, Jenette Bisbee and Chrylene Lindsley, all of Erie, and Lloyd and Helen Miller of Emporium, PA.
Friends may call at the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle St., Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service there at 11 a.m. The Rev. Roy P. Washill of St. John's Lutheran Church will officiate. Private burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
