Elliott Baume

Elliott Baume, age 78, of Zionsville, IN, formerly of Piqua, OH, Springfield, OH, and Erie, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2023.

Elliott was born on January 23, 1945, in Erie, PA. After graduating from Academy High School in Erie, he entered the U.S. Navy, stationed in Washington, D.C. Following an honorable discharge, he worked in management in the automobile industry in Springfield, OH and later was the proud owner of 4-Seasons Heating and Cooling. He volunteered at Springfield’s Kiwanis Club, serving as the President for one year.  Elliott also worked in medical equipment sales and later in assisting high school athletes earn college scholarships with College Prospects of America.

Elliott had a wonderful sense of humor so his passing away on Father’s Day was his final prank for us.  He enjoyed classic cars, fishing, billiards, golfing, playing trivia, and cheering on his children and grandchildren in their activities.

Elliott was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mayme Baume, and his second wife, Kimberlee. He is survived by his children, Derek Baume (Stephanie) and Brittany Schmidt (Matt), grandsons, Eli, Jackson, and Zachary, his brother, Ernie Baume (Barbara) and his nephews, Randall and Barry.
