Ella Robinson

Ella Louise Robinson, age 56, of Erie, Passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022 at UPMC Hamot Hospital.  She was born in Philadelphia, PA, March 22, 1966, a daughter of Morris, Sr. and Jana Lee Robinson.

Ella graduated from Simon Gratz High School in Philadelphia. She worked in housekeeping for the PA Depart of Welfare Office and Matthew’s Trattoria Restaurant for over 10 years. She enjoyed dancing, dressing up and was a true sneaker-head. She loved the music of Michael Jackson, Bobby Brown and Gospel. Above all she loved being with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Shantai Robinson and Mother-In-Law, Willie Mae Roberts.

Survivors include her fiancé, Ruben Roberts; two sons, Willie Baker, Jr. and Tyrone Baker; step-daughter, Tanja Goudy Hill (Barry); and 3 grandchildren, Shiawntae, Nymari and Russell. Further surviving are siblings, Rebecca, Mitchell Mary Lou, Mattie Bell, Nancy Rosalie, Morris Jr., Richard and Rosetta Robinson as well as many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on the family at Morning Star Baptist Church, 327 E 23^rd St Erie, PA on Saturday, April 2 from 11 AM until the time of service at 1 PM, with Pastor Duane Hunter officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Mount Peace Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA.
