Ella Craig

Ella Mae Craig, age 89, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at her residence.

Ella was born in Emlenton, PA on October 7, 1926, a daughter of the late Reldon and Hazel Brock Bashline.

Ella enjoyed camping and playing card and board games. She liked to square dance and also loved going to Lily Dale.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Craig.

She is survived by a son, Charles “Rick” Craig and his wife Debbie, a daughter, Constance L. Craig both of Erie and two grandchildren, Brian Craig of Pittsburgh and Jessica Johnston and her husband Chris of Meadville. Children of Debbie, extended family, Benjamin Plummer and his wife Angela along with their four daughters, Brian Plummer and Ella’s beloved dog “Sammy” which she rescued from the A.N.N.A. Shelter also survive.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street, on Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m.

Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery immediately following the service.
