Elizabeth "Betty" H. Wiler

Elizabeth “Betty” H. Postirak Wiler, age 106 passed away on Saturday September 28, 2024 at LECOM at Village Square. She was born April 18, 1918 in Cleveland, OH to the late John and Elizabeth Nimet Postirak.

Betty was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School and worked for Bliley Electric for several years. She was a founding member of Mount Calvary Catholic Church. She enjoyed shopping and her lunches with family members.

In addition to her parents, she’s preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Charles L. Wiler; her sons, Donald Wiler and Robert Wiler; a sister, Mary Ann Harvey and grandson Brent Crandall.

Betty is survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Wiler of Palm Bay, FL; grandsons, Darren Wiler of Erie, PA, Bud Crandall of Erie, PA and Brad Crandall of Gonzales, LA. She’s further survived by 14 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends may call on the family at Burton Quinn Scott Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross rd., Erie, PA on Friday October 4 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM officiated by Pastor Dan Cass of Greenfield Baptist Church.

Private burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
