Elizabeth Artello

Elizabeth “Betty” Sedor Artello, age 89, of Albion, passed away Monday January 8, 2018 at her residence.

She was born in Franklin Center on November 21, 1928, a daughter of the late Michael and Anna Buren Sedor.

Betty graduated from Edinboro High School. After she married her husband, Nick Artello, she loved working on the Artello Potato farm.

She was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Crossingville.  Betty loved to play Bingo, cards, work on puzzles and enjoyed her time at the Albion Senior Center.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Artello; and her siblings: John Sedor, Maryann Carrick, Frank Sedor, Ann Suray, Michael Sedor Jr.,George Sedor and Joseph Sedor; and a granddaughter, Brenda Betts.

Betty is survived by her children, Gary Artello,Alice Betts and Jeffrey Artello, all of Albion; three grandchildren, Cynthia Artello, Jeanette Betts Browning and Laura Betts; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring and will be announced at a later date.

Inurnment will be at Albion Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Private funeral arrangements were entrusted to Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, Girard.
