Eleanora Miller

Eleanora M. Miller age 90, passed away on December 28, 2016 at the Village at Luther Square.

She was born in Erie on June 8, 1926, daughter of the late Edward and Sophie Turi Sandstrom.

Eleanora attended Strong Vincent High School and was a member of St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker raising 7 children. She enjoyed spending time with family, crocheting, doing crafts and reading.

She was preceded in death by her husband William H. Miller, Sr.; grandson Joseph Banner; granddaughter Holly Banner; brother Wally Sandstrom and daughter in law Peg Miller.

Eleanora is survived by 7 children; Carol Malena (Anthony), Nancy Sadler, Linda Banner (Thomas), James Miller, William Miller (Katherine), John Miller (Lorrie) and Sandra Miller; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is additionally survived by her sister, Orla Lord.

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, 602 West 10th St. on Friday, December 30th, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. and are invited to a service there on Saturday, December 31st at 10 a.m. with Reverend Shane Thompson officiating.
