Eileen Theresa DeLuca-Kranz

Eileen Theresa DeLuca-Kranz, age 69 passed away at her home on Tuesday April 22, 2025. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ on April 11, 1956 to the late Lawrence Joseph and Virginia Clare Mahoney DeLuca.

Eileen graduated from Mount St. Mary’s Academy high school in New Jersey in 1974. She then graduated from Villa Maria College in 1978 and earned a Master’s degree from Edinboro University in 1990. Eileen worked as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years at UPMC Hamot and the VA Medical Center. She attended St. Jude the Apostle Church.

In addition to her parents, she’s preceded in death by a brother, Martin DeLuca.

Eileen is survived by her son, Mackenzie Kranz of Erie; a sister, Loretta DeLuca of Somerset, NJ; a brother, Lawrence DeLuca Jr (Michele) of Middlesex, NJ; and 3 grandchildren, Mason, Brooklynn and Lyla Kranz, who were the love of her life. She’s further survived by several nieces, nephews, several cousins and her dear friend Elda Brickell Chessario.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Rd., Erie, PA 16510 on Monday April 28, 2025 from 12:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm. Burial to follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
