Eileen E. Baldwin, age 87, of Lake City, passed away on Friday June 6, 2014 at her residence.
She was born in Buffalo, New York on February 27, 1927, the daughter of the late Lloyd H. Wonch, Sr. and Edith Borcharding Wonch.
Eileen was a graduate of Kensington High School in Buffalo, New York. She was an OC Inspector at Erie Technical Products for 16 years. She loved playing softball. As a teenager, her father sent her into the woods with a rifle and ten bullets, she came home with 10 squirrel tails. Eileen enjoyed camping in the Allegheny State Park. She loved playing cards and was very competitive, as taught by her mother. There was a chance you would come home bruised from a game of “Tonawanda Poker”. Eileen loved her “2nd Family”, Joyce and Ron Nichols in California. Her family will lovingly think of her when they smell Lilacs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Lloyd H. Wonch, Jr. and Charles W. Wonch; and a sister in law, Ruth Wonch; a grandson, Mark Baldwin.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur J. Baldwin; one daughter, Kathy Utstein, of Lake City; and four sons: David Baldwin of New York, Lloyd John Baldwin, of Green Township, Patrick C. Baldwin, of Bradford, PA, and Jeffrey M. Baldwin, of Casa Grande, AZ; sister in law, Rita Wonch. Eileen is further is survived by 11 grandchildren;16 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
