Edward M. Heubel, age 57, of Erie, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2018 after a year-long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the son of the late Edward J. Heubel and Helen (Bierbauer) Heubel Trask, and the stepson of Donald Trask who survive him.
He was born in Erie, PA on August 29, 1960. He attended the former Mount Calvary Elementary School, and graduated from Cathedral Preparatory School in 1979. He went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gannon University.
He launched his career in Engineering as a draftsman at Zurn Mechanical Drives in Erie, later moving to Zurn Energy Division and Aalborg Industries to work in the field of heat recovery steam generation.
