Edward Estes

     Edward A. Estes, 74, of Erie, died Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at St. Vincent Health Center.  He was born September 10, 1940 in Erie, son of the late Clarence Estes and the late Dorothy Frost Estes Ward.  For forty years he worked as a set-up man for Ringling Brothers Circus.  Following retirement, Mr. Estes worked in maintenance for the Plymouth Tavern for ten years.  His interests included watching professional wrestling.
     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Roberta Sweeney and Nancy Evans; and a stepson, John Olson.
     Survivors include a daughter, Brenda L. Austin of Erie; a son, Daniel S. Estes and wife Julie of Erie; five grandchildren, Shane and Brett Austin, Terry and Kiya Stone, and Kayla Estes, all of Erie; a stepdaughter, Anita Fay and husband David of Corry, PA; a stepson, Richard Olson of Yuma, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
     Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced.
