Douglas Wilson

Douglas James Wilson, age 64, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born in Erie on March 27, 1958, a son of James and Sonya Delacour Wilson of Girard.

Douglas graduated from Strong Vincent in 1976 and served in the United States Marine Corps.

He had worked for many years as an Auto Body Technician at the Gary Miller Chrysler dealership in Erie, PA.  He was a talented sketch artist and loved riding motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Greg C. Wilson.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, James Wilson Jr.  of Alabama and Richard (Julie Schutte) Wilson of Erie; sister in law, Susan Wilson of Erie, and his special companion, Chris Lohse. Nieces and nephews: Rick Wilson, Jr., Dylon Wilson, Georgia Heller; TJ Wilson; and Laura Wilson.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, Girard on Saturday from 1:00 until the time of service at 3:00pm.
