Douglas Kindle

Douglas Allen Kindle, age 54, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2016.

Born in Erie, PA on April 13, 1962, a son of the late Earl M. and Mary Janet (Allen) Kindle. Doug was a Class of 1980 graduate of East High School and worked as an auto and motorcycle mechanic. Doug was baptized at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church. He loved sports; played slow pitch softball, as a golfer once hit a hole in one, and he also enjoyed bowling for many years. He enjoyed riding Harley’s with his friends. Doug was always there to help a friend in need.

In addition to his parents Doug was preceded in death by a son, Robert Michael Kindle.

Doug is survived by his son, Douglas A. Kindle, II; two brothers, Daniel Kindle and his wife Pamela, and David Kindle and wife Sharon, both of Erie; one sister, Tracy Cooke and her husband Phillip of Raleigh, NC.

Friends may call at the Burton Wintergreen Funeral Home, 2532 Norcross Rd. on Tuesday, November 15th at 1:00 until the time of funeral service at 3:00 PM in the Burton Wintergreen All Faiths Chapel.
