Douglas A. Schneider

Douglas A. Schneider, age 58 of Millcreek Township passed away at Fairview Manor on Wednesday December 6, 2017.

Doug was born on January 26, 1959 in Erie, the son of the late Lloyd J. and Shirley Ann Kingston Schneider.

He graduated from McDowell High School class of 1976 and worked in shipping and receiving at Plastec for over 20 years until recent illness and the past year.

Doug loved his wife Tammy and his son Allen and his fiancé Amy. Throughout the years he loved his longtime companion dogs Lucky and Lucy. Doug was an avid Miami Dolphins fan and loved listening to classic rock.

 Doug is survived by his loving wife Tammy of 26 years, his son Allen Schneider and his fiancé Amy Klep of Erie. He is further survived by his sister Carolyn (Ted) Hazlett and his niece Emily Hazlett. Additionally many niece , nephews and great nieces and nephews from his wife Tammy’s side of the family also survive.

Family and friends will be invited to a memorial service which will be announced at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26^th St., Erie, PA 16506. Inurnment will be private at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
