Dorothy Prescott

Dorothy Prescott, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, August 18^th, 2021 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born on March 26^th, 1941, in Vardaman, Mississippi, a daughter to the late George and Beary Watson, Sr.

Dorothy loved hunting, fishing, bingo and gardening. She was an avid basketball fan and taking care of her loved ones.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Prescott, Sr.; her brothers, Pruitt and George Watson, Jr.; a sister, Eugenia Watson Thomas; and her grandson, Justin A. Prescott.

Dorothy will be forever missed by her daughters, Elizabeth Smith (John) Lorann and Rebecca Prescott, all of Erie; her sons, Charles (Patty) Prescott, of Dubois, PA, Jammie and Phillip Prescott, both of Erie; loving sister, Myrtice McKinney, of Orlando, FL; 35 grandchildren; 72 great grandchildren; many great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Dorothy shared a special place in her heart for her nieces, Peggy McKinney and Lisa Watson.

Friends may call Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 10:00 until time of service at noon to 1:30 P.M. with Pastor Madonna Gray officiating at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc Downtown, 602 W 10^th Street, Erie, PA 16502. Burial to follow in Erie County Memorial Gardens.
