Doris Gleditsch

Doris Tyson Gleditsch, age 91, died January 3, 2013 in Erie, PA

She was born on February 10, 1921 in McKeesport, PA, the daughter of the late Thomas G. and Agnes Bankey Tyson. She was a retired executive secretary of the former G.C. Murphy's Co. home office.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Charles W. Gleditsch and sisters Kathryn Reilly and Helen Stewart.

Doris is survived by a son, Dr. Scott D. Gleditsch and his wife Christina of Charlotte, NC and a daughter, Cathy Shabla and her husband George of Erie, PA. She is also survived by four granddaughters, Katrina and Allison Gleditsch, Sarah Plunkett and Samantha Shabla. Also surviving is her brother-in-law Paul Gleditsch and many beloved nieces and nephews.

No calling hours will be observed. Burial will be private.
