Doreen Robertson

Doreen Robertson, age 93, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 15, 2025. 

She was born in Erie on March 25, 1931, a daughter of the late Albert R. and Harriet Will. 

She graduated from Academy High School in 1949. One June 24, 1951, she married her high school sweetheart (the Love of her life) David, while he was in the USAF. 

Doreen worked as the secretary for her husband’s business Robertson Masonry Contracting, Inc. 

She was a loving wife for over 73 years. Mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. 

She was a member with her husband of the Kahkwa Club and the Erie Yacht Club. 

Doreen enjoyed dancing, golfing and traveling extensively with her husband including 17 cruises and golfing trips. 

Survivors include the love of her life, David G. Robertson; a daughter, Deborah (Debbie) Moran and her husband Rick; and a son, David A. (Robbie) Robertson and his wife Jean. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Richard Moran III, Christine Moran (Melody Rose), Timothy Moran (Rachel), Ian Robertson and Charlotte Robertson; six great-grandchildren, Emily, Pacey and Ryan Moran, Olivia, Aubrey and Luke Moran and many nieces and nephews. 

The family would like to thank all the nurses and caregivers at St. Mary’s Asbury Ridge for the wonderful care they gave Doreen including, Brianna, Amy, Lauren and especially Kim for her special friendship. 

Private burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery by the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
