Dora Mazzeo

Dora E. “Blondie” Mazzeo age 91, of Erie, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2013 at her home surrounded by her girls. She was born in Rocky Grove, PA on January 23, 1922, the daughter of the late John and Georgie Mihleder Eagles. She graduated from Rocky Grove High School. Dora was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was known for her excellent cooking and her greatest joy was taking care of and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Albert Mazzeo and two brothers, Ted and Jack Eagles. She is survived by her five daughters: Patricia Mashank, Judith Stefurak, Linda Gleichsner and her husband Richard all of Erie, Deborah Berry and her husband James of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, and Cheryl Mazzeo and her husband Robert Sajewski of Erie; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Private services were held at the convenience of the family.
