Donna Youngquist

Donna M. Youngquist, age 78, of Millcreek, passed away Thursday May 9, 2013 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born in Erie on September 27, 1934, daughter of the late Philip S. and Edna M. Brewer Rathmell.

Donna was raised in Harborcreek and graduated from Harborcreek High School. She worked in the Accounting Department at Zurn Industries, as a customer service representative at Penelec and may be remembered for her time at Wegmans preparing and serving food samples. She was a member of the Asbury Woods Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses on Asbury Road. She was a member of the Jolly Jesters Clowns and the Red Hat Society. Donna enjoyed crafts, collecting recipes and cooking. Her greatest joys were her family, especially her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years Alan Youngquist; a son Scot; a daughter Reale; seven grandchildren Ryann, Melissa, Nick, Shaughn, Cynthia, William and Sharon; and two great-grandchildren Michael and Zanea.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
