Donna J. Thompson

Donna J Thompson, age 75, of Fairview, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at her residence.
She was born in Erie on April 19, 1948, a daughter of the late Walter and Ruth Schauble Holmstrom.

Donna ran her own cleaning business for many years before working for Fairview Hardware, Don Smith Hardware, and Ferrier Hardware where she retired. She was a member of Moose Lodge #66, St. Mary’s Club, and the American Legion Post 742 in Fairview where she was very active.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Janet MacGurn. Donna is survived by her husband David L. Thompson and her children: Stephanie Thompson, Rick Thompson (Leanne), Jennifer Dunmire (George), her siblings: David Holmstrom, Kenny Holmstrom, Shirley Wagoner and Nancy Ozimek. She is further survived by her grandchildren: Berk (Chi), Ryan and Matthew Seelinger, Madison and Claire Thompson, Dylan and Maggie Dunmire.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 West 26th St., on Friday, October 27th from 4:00 - 7:00 pm and are invited to attend a service there on Saturday, October 28th at 10:00 am.
