Donna Phillips

Donna Locke Phillips, age 80, passed away on Tuesday May 5, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on September 23, 1934 in St. Mary’s, PA daughter of the late Donald S. and Harriett Dean Locke.

Donna and her husband Tom owned the Golden Triangle Motel since 1993. Prior to the motel, Donna was employed for over 20 years at the Erie County Vocational Tech School in their payroll department. She was a life time member of the Gridley Chapter #324 O. E. S. She was a long time member of Lakewood United Methodist Church serving as a money counter and on various committees over the years.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Thomas C. Phillips, Jr. and her parents.

Survivors include her daughters Gayle L. Phillips-Smith of Erie, PA and Tammy Sanfilippo of Meadville, PA; a brother Gary Locke and his wife Darlene of Erie, PA; and three nephews Rick Locke( Kayte) of Soddy Daisy, TN; Ron Locke (Angela) of Charleston, SC; and Mike Locke (Darla) of Towanda, PA. Several great nieces and a great nephew also survive.

Friends may call on Friday from 4:00 and 8:00 p.m. at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street (at Powell Ave) Erie, PA 16506. Friends may also call on Saturday from 10:00 until the time of the service at 11:00 am at Lakewood United Methodist Church 3856 West 10th Street Erie, PA 16505.

Burial will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
