Donna Lindstrom

Donna M. Lindstrom, age 86, of Ripley, NY, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022.

She was born April 21, 1936 in Jamestown, NY to Walter H. and Jane Simmons Van Every, Sr. of Busti NY.

She was married to Grant D. Lindstrom of Busti, NY in Mina, NY on November 7, 1954.

Mrs. Lindstrom was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 2009, her grandson Aaron Waters in 1977, a son, Michael Lindstrom in April 2022, her brothers Walter Van Every, Jr.; Richard Van Every and Gordon Van Every, and her sister Dorothy Bush.

She is survived by her children, Prudence and husband, Alan Waters of Ripley, NY; sons Donald Lindstrom, and Mr. and Mrs. Howard (Jeana) Lindstrom all of Ripley, NY and a brother, Roger Van Every of Lakewood, NY.

Further survived by her grandchildren and their children:  Austin, Kasy, and Emma Waters; Dustin, Alice and Reyn Waters; Miranda Rater; Jameson, Mason, Lily and Axel all of Ripley, NY; Ashley and Bill Dean and their children Riley, Billy and Emily of Mayville, NY; Shane, Jill, Adrian and Ben Lindstrom of Westfield, NY; Amber and Joe Dunmire of Erie, PA; Danielle, Gill and Jayden Carter of Colorado; Kailee, Angel and Sophia and Athena Torres of Dunkirk, NY; Andrew Lindstrom of Fredonia, NY; Trinton Muller and Kailee and Veronica of Florida and their son, Trinton, Muller, Jr.; Dylan Muller and Liz of Chicago, IL and their son, Liam Muller and her sister-in-law, Marsha Van Every of Sherman, NY and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.

She went to Lakewood and Southwestern High School class of 1955.  She received her GED at 50 years old and loved her family most and also enjoyed crocheting, sewing and painting. 

Donna was employed at Rice Hardware for 24 years, Colonial Squire Motel for 15 years, was a waitress at many restaurants in the Westfield, NY area, and also provided in home care for many.  She loved making goodies for everyone.  She was also a member of the First Baptist Church and lifetime member of the Ripley Hose Auxiliary in Ripley, NY.

Arrangements entrusted to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., Wintergreen 2532 Norcross Road, Erie.
