Donna Kishel

Donna M. Kishel, age 81, of Erie passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at Elmwood Gardens. She was born April 4, 1937 in Erie the daughter of the late Anthony and Ruth McCallion Kishel.

A lifelong resident of Erie, Donna had worked in childcare and also was a caregiver to many family members and friends. She would never turn down a chance to help someone. A women of great faith, Donna was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and their Ladies Guild. Family was an important part of her life, and she valued the times spent together at holidays and special events.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Wilczynski; a brother-in-law, Joseph Wilczynski, and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Kishel..

Donna is survived by a brother, James Kishel of Erie and she is the aunt of Maureen Totleben (Mark), Patrick Wilczynski (Teresa), Bridget Hines, Kathie Soudan (Brad), Karen Light (Mike), Shelley Mindek (Hunter), and Sharon Riley (Matt). She is further survived by many great-nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call at the Quinn Funeral Home, West 9^th & Liberty St. on Sunday from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM and are invited to attend Prayer Services there Monday at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Andrew Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Andrew Church, 1116 West 7^th St., Erie, PA 16502.
