Donna Baughman

Donna R. Hunter Baughman, age 85, of East Springfield, died Sunday, January 27, 2013, surrounded by her family, at Elmwood Gardens. Born in Erie on December 20, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Ray and Ruby Zimmerman Hunter.

Donna was a graduate of Millcreek High School and was homemaker, a loving mother and grandmother. She was a 50-year member of Westminster United Presbyterian Church.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Robert S. Baughman, a sister, Ruth Zimmerman, a brother, Paul Hunter, and a son-in-law, Daniel Bowden. She is survived by two daughters: Roberta Bowden of East Springfield and Mary Escobar and her husband Juan of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; a son, David Baughman and his wife Melody of Erie; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East in Girard

on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in Burton's All Faiths Chapel. Private burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
