Donald Miraszek

Donald J. Miraszek, age 76 of Erie, died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center.

He was born in Erie, PA on March 4, 1936, a son of the late Francis B. and Helen Strike Miraszek.

Donald graduated from Technical Memorial High School and served in the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne.

He worked at Stossers Industries in California as a tool and die maker.

Donald enjoyed golfing and making puzzles.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Ashley Weller.

Survivors include his three children: Lori Weller and her husband Walt of Kalamazoo, MI; Kelly Hackleman and her husband Jay of Surprise, AZ; and Christopher Miraszek and his wife Amey of Queen Creek, AZ; six grandchildren, one great grandchild; siblings: Dorothy DeLuca and her husband Jim, Joseph Miraszek, and Mary Ann Schneider all of Erie, numerous nieces nephews and cousins.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements entrusted to Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street, Erie PA.

Memorials may be made to the organization of the donor's choice.
