Donald Knauff

Donald C. Knauff, age 86, of Lake City, passed away Sunday May 14, 2017 at St. Vincent Health Center.

 He was born in Erie on June 12, 1930, a son of the late Alvah Ray and Grace Maxham Knauff.

 Donald attended Strong Vincent High School and enlisted in the U.S Navy Reserves for 8 years.  He worked as a machinist at Lord Corporation.

 He loved fishing and boating.  Don was an antique car and motorcycle enthusiast.

 Don was the last of 12 children to pass away.

 He is survived by his son, Mark R. Knauff and his wife, Susan of Grafton,OH, a daughter, Diane Thaler and her husband, Roy of Madison,OH.  He is further survived by 3 grandchildren: Cassidy, Rachel and Mitch; as well as many nieces and nephews.

 Private inurnment at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
