Donald J. Gaudette “Inch” age 60, of McKean, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, September 28, 2017 at his residence.
He was born in Worcester, MA. on September 5, 1957, son of Donald and Carolyn Gaudette currently residing in Bradenton, Florida. He spent his youth summering in Cape Cod, MA.
Inch was a 1975 graduate of Fairview High School. During his high school years, both in PA and MA, he was involved in gymnastics, wresting and fencing.
He was a former EMT and started his career as an excavator operator for fifteen years with David Chivers Construction. Inch also did work for Millcreek Sewer Department for many years. Inch ran his own welding business called INCHCO which he continued to operate until his untimely death.
He loved his dogs, his family, gardening, and motorcycle riding. He enjoyed golfing and was an accomplished pianist. As many of you know, Inch had nine lives and he lived them all to the fullest. He loved to have fun, and he will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son Avery Creegan; two sisters, Deborah Graves and
Patricia Gaudette; three brothers, Philip, Paul, and Thomas Gaudette; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Please join his family at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. Girard on Monday from 5 pm until the time of a prayer service at 7pm.
Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice and the family wishes to thank all of the many friends who gave Donny “Inch” a place to relax, laugh, feel welcomed and loved over the 42 years he spent in PA. He loved his home and friends and died where he wanted to be.
