Dolores "Emily" Malinowski

Dolores “Emily” (Radomski) Malinowski, age 88, of Erie passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born December 1, 1934 in Erie the daughter of the late Felix and Felicia Radomski.

Dolores graduated from Saint Benedict Academy High School and the Saint Vincent School of Nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse for St. Vincent Hospital, later as a nursing supervisor at Pleasant Ridge Manor, and also as a school nurse for the Erie School District.

Emily was president of the Saint Andrew’s PTA while her children attended grade school.

Emily was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church and belonged to the former Erie Maennerchor club Ladies Auxiliary. She was very proud of her Polish heritage and enjoyed speaking the language with others.

Emily was a very loving and wonderful mother and grandmother, she would always put the needs of others before herself. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

 Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Stanley A. Malinowski; a son, Douglas T. Malinowski; a daughter, Diane MacLeod, and several brothers and sisters.

Dolores is survived by two sons; Andrew and Donald Malinowski of Erie; four grandchildren, Theodore and Joseph Malinowski, and Spencer and Skyler MacLeod along with a sister, Annette Radomski.

Per her wishes, there will be no public calling hours and Funeral Services will be private with burial in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Erie Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 1645 W.8^th St., Erie, PA 16505.
