Dianne Reyes

Dianne Marie Balsiger Reyes, age 65, of Edinboro, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016. Born May 29, 1951 in Camp Atterbury, IN, she was the daughter of Mary Anne Buoy Balsiger Grumblatt, and the late Rudolph C. Balsiger.

She was a member of Abiding Hope Lutheran Church and was employed by Minority Health and Education Delivery Systems (M.H.E.D.S) until March 2007 and most recently by Millcreek Community Hospital. Dianne was a loving and caring person with a big heart. “Mimi” enjoyed spending lots of time with her granddaughter, Autumn, who will always be her sunshine.

She was a “teacher” to her siblings and was always “on-time”. Dianne was passionate about all she did. Her nieces and nephews will always remember Aunt Dee-Dee’s slippers.

In addition to her mother, survivors include a daughter, Victoria Bost (Hans Lunser) and granddaughter, Autumn Lunser of Lake City; siblings, Cheryl Tufts, of Edinboro, Richard J. Balsiger, of Erie, Mary Lee Dreisbach-Haynes, of SC and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 602 West 10th Street at Cherry Street, on Friday Sept. 23rd from 2-4pm and 6-8pm and are invited to attend a service on Saturday Sept. 24th at 11am at Abiding Hope Lutheran Church, 2402 W. Grandview Blvd., Erie, 16506 with Alison Leitzel officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Abiding Hope Lutheran Church.
