Diane Dunn

Diane Amann Dunn, age 63, of Millcreek, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 at her residence after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

She was born in Erie on September 14, 1952, a daughter of the late Thomas and Dolores Panfiloff Amann.

Diane attended McDowell High School.

Diane worked at Hill’s, Linens and Things and Home Place. She was a passionate gardener who loved to garden and her yard absolutely reflected this love! She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events. She often walked with her neighbors, and loved to play cornhole with her family. Diane adored vacationing with her family and lived for taking frequent rides with the love of her life, Dan. Most of all, Diane’s love knew no boundaries towards her family. Anyone who encountered Diane was deeply touched by her infectious smile!

She is survived by her husband, Dan L. Dunn, three children, Melanie Ross and her husband Mike of McKean, PA, Dan Dunn, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Erie, and Kristy Brooks and her fiancé Chris Myers of McKean and two brothers, Dan Amann and his wife Kim of Millcreek and Tim Amann and his wife Jamie of Las Vegas, NV. Several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street, (at Powell Avenue,) on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Monday at 11 a.m. Burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
