Diana Cousins

Diana L. (Rauch) Cousins, age 72, of Lake City, went home to be with the Lord, on Wednesday January 28, 2015 surrounded by her loving family after a 14 year battle with cancer.

She was born in Greenville on July 19, 1942, a daughter of the late Robert and Ileen Rauch.

Diana graduated from New Castle High School in 1960. She worked at several retail stores before becoming a full time homemaker. Diana attended Girard Alliance Church for many years. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Mary Rauch; father in law, LeRoy Cousins and great grandson Andres Rivera.

Diana is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 51 years, William (Bill) Cousins; her loving children: Amy Cousins of Girard and Matthew Cousins and his wife Patty of Millcreek; two granddaughters: Andrea Davids and her husband Michael of North Carolina and Meagan Rivera (Nathan Birkner) of Girard; five great grandchildren: Vivian and Michael Jr. Davids of North Carolina, Audriana Rivera of Girard, Abbey and Madeline Platz of Erie (daughter of Matthew and Lizzie Platz); her mother in law, Helen Cousins, age 98; her aunt, Doris Piper as well as several cousins; many precious praying friends; and dearest friend and special prayer partner, Lori DeLeo.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East in Girard, on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm., and are invited to attend a funeral service on Monday at 11a.m., in the All Faith Chapel with Pastor Clyde Davis officiating.
