Destiny Bucci

Destiny Arlette (Sharp) Bucci, age 34 of West Springfield, lost her life to COVID-19 at St. Vincent Health Center on Thursday, December 30, 2021.

She was born in Erie on May 6, 1987, a daughter of Charles Sharp III of Las Vegas and Shelly Sharp (Dan Susi) of Erie.

Destiny was a 2005 graduate of McDowell High School and worked in the home and as a handcrafter. She also enjoyed knitting, crafting, and cooking. Destiny was a devoted and loving mother who always saw the good in the world and had a great sense of humor.

She is preceded in death by a sister, Shannon Sharp on December 7, 2021, her father-in-law, Joseph Bucci, and her grandparents.

Destiny is survived by her husband of 14 years, Ralph A. Bucci; her five children: Brooklyn, Natalia, Liam, Jakob, and Emmalynn Bucci; her siblings: Nicole Naglowsky-Gunter (Alan) of TN; Shanti Harkness of OH; Charli Sharp of Erie; and Gianna Susi of Erie; her mother-in-law, Angie Bucci of Erie, aunts and uncles, her brothers and sisters in laws, many nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, Girard on Thursday from 4-7pm and are invited to attend services there on Friday at 10:30am followed by burial in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
