Dennis Sullivan

Dennis Paul Sullivan, 67, of Erie, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, November 23,2022 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Erie on February 28,1955, the son of Eleanor (Landi) Sullivan and Paul John Sullivan.  

After graduating from Academy High in 1973, Dennis ventured to Chicago, IL where he earned his title as National Accounts Manager for The Canon Corporation, as a top sales executive for many years. Upon returning to Erie to be closer to his family, Dennis used his skills as an entrepreneur to build Accent Construction from the ground up. As he grew and ran a successful business for three decades, Dennis employed many people in this community and received numerous awards throughout the years. Dennis' loved ones are very proud of his accomplishments and the legacy he left behind. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, and aunts and uncles. 

Dennis is survived by his two brothers Paul Sullivan (Janet) and David Sullivan. He leaves behind five children. Jaimee Farrell Slovak (Rob), Shaylah Stilley, Kellan Stilley, Katelyn Stilley, and Shannon Stilley Peters (Drew) and seven grandchildren; Neveah, Kara, Braden, Joey, Emma, Emmett, and Lucy as well as many cousins. Dennis will be dearly missed by his friends, family, and his beloved cat, Sassy. 

Dennis was the life of the party and could light up any room. He always lived life to the fullest. 

Rather than mourn Dennis' passing, we ask that you come celebrate his life on Friday, December 2, 2022 at the Quinn Funeral Home, West 9^th & Liberty St. from 2-4 and 6-8pm at which time a Funeral Service will be held at 8:00pm. Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
