Dennis J. Rogers

Dennis J. “Denny” Rogers, age 86, passed away at his residence on Saturday, November 23, 2024. 

He was born on December 9, 1937, in Erie, to the late Denzel B. and Marion M. Rosthauser Rogers.

Denny was a 1955 graduate of McDowell High School. He studied Design Technology at Penn State – Behrend before serving in the United States Army for three years in Germany. Upon his return, he worked alongside his father in his dental lab becoming a salesman for the Dental Service and Patterson Dental Companies, retiring in 2007 after 45 years. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Club and the Zukor Club. Denny was a member of the Lake Erie Mustang Club and enjoyed collecting and owning classic cars. He was an avid fisherman and liked snowmobiling and riding his motorcycle. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Patricia "Patty" Dauer Rogers in 2018.

He leaves behind to cherish him in memory, his son, Dennis Mark Rogers and his wife, Cheryl and her children, Charles Jr., Cara and Carly. He is further survived by his dog and faithful companion, Tucker. 

Per Denny’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. Arrangements are entrusted to the Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W 10th St., Erie PA 16502.
