Dennis Crawford

Dennis Alan Crawford, age 69, of Girard, passed away Friday, January 25th 2019, at his home.

He was born August 20th 1949, In Allegheny County PA. Dennis graduated from Knoch High School, class of 1967. After graduating, he married Karen Penvose, and started a family. Dennis was an avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing and all wildlife. He was a hunter safety instructor for 35 years in Pennsylvania. Dennis was a Chief Union Steward of UE 506, and a national delegate. He was also a longtime supporter of local music.

Dennis is preceded in death by his wife, Karen Denise Crawford, who passed away January 16th 2019 and his older brother Danny.

He is survived by his four children, Alan Crawford Jr., Cyndi Crawford, Tom Crawford, and Patrick Crawford. Dennis is further survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, his brothers Sam and Jim Crawford, sister June and several, nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on the family Monday, January 28th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Burton Funeral Home, Girard, 525 Main Street East.
