Denise Clark

Denise Tina “Tiny” Clark, 57, of Cleveland, Ohio, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015. She was born in Erie, PA on January 03, 1958, daughter of the late Alvin L. Clark, Sr. and Margaret Johnson Clark.

Denise was a 1977 Graduate of Academy High School. Shortly after graduation she relocated to Flint, MI, and began her life careers in: Sales, Housekeeping, Waitressing & Bartending. In 2011 she relocated to Cleveland, Ohio. She was most recently employed by Global Management Solutions in the Beachwood Place Mall as a Food Court Supervisor. She remained there until her health started to decline in late 2014. Upon relocating to Ohio she attended The Word Church where she thoroughly enjoyed the lively ministry of Dr. R. A. Vernon. She enjoyed bowling, skating, playing cards, was an avid sports fan, and loved her friends and family.

Denise was preceded in death by her father and mother, her sisters Brenda L. (Cookie) Clark Moye and Jacqueline (Mam) Clark, her nephew Larry L. (Yammy) Stribling, Jr., her aunt Jeanette (Ba) Johnson-Gaines. She leaves to cherish her memory, four brothers, Beary W. (Pee Wee) Clark (Shirley), Odester L. (Beaver) Clark, Bryan E. Clark (Karen) all of Erie and Alvin L. (Ricky) Clark, Jr. of Jackson, MS; three sisters, Peggy J. Clark Stribling of Flint, MI., Linda J. (Poo-Jack) Clark of Cleveland, OH, and Cleotis Harris of North Carolina, niece Monique S. Moye-Winston (Kenny) of Beachwood, OH, nephew Stefan A. Moye of Temecula, California who were raised by her mother; five cousins, Oscar (Butchie) Johnson, Minister Dwight (Poo-Poo) Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Tina Johnson all of Erie and Lester (Chip) Johnson (Helen) of Baltimore, MD, step-grandmother, Carrie Johnson Stokes of Erie, uncle Elder Jackie Kemp Jones of Erie, special great-niece, Kyndall L. Winston of Beachwood, OH who she was helping to care for, and a host of nieces and nephews. Also surviving are special friends, Deborah Livermon, Betty Joe Pea, Seaman Family, and Mona's Lounge, all of Flint, MI, and many, many more.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m., and are invited to services at the Greater Calvary Full Gospel Baptist Church, 2624 German St., on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Bishop Jesse N. Gavin officiating.

Burial in Erie Cemetery.
