Delores A. Sigman

Delores A. Sigman, age 68, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born in Atlanta, GA, on October 12, 1954, a daughter of the late Cullom Oliver and Mary Elizabeth Handley Wakefield. 

Delores was a graduate of Towers High School in Decatur, GA. She worked at Tops Friendly Markets for over 20 years.  Delores and her husband, Michael, were together for 38 years and were the best of friends. She enjoyed traveling to Atlanta to see family and would make the trip a few times a year. Delores liked to cross-stitch, crochet, read, play computer games and loved the Atlanta Braves. Most of all, Delores loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Robert Allen Sigman and stepmother, Betty June Wakefield.

Delores is survived by her husband of 28 years, Michael Longstreth; her children, Clyde “Butch” Yerace (Brittany), Theresa Sigman, Michelle Longstreth (Cesar) and Jessica Longstreth (Richard);  grandchildren, Antonio, Denez, Richard Jr, Michael, Bentley, Luca and Dylan; great granddaughter, Avayah; siblings, Gary Hackney (Debbie), of Social Circle, GA, Michael Wakefield (Hilda), of Summerville, GA, Susan Atkinson, of Woodbridge, VA, Becky O’Halloran (Mike), of Moses Lake, WA, Schryl Rose (Mike), of Roswell, GA and Jean Jones (Bill), of Bethlehem, GA; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.  

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W 10^th St., on Monday, July 31, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Private burial to take place in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
