Debra Fainstein

Debbie, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 27th, at St. Vincent Health Center. After graduating from Edinboro University in 1975,

Debbie joined Mark Fainstein Photography. Debbi and Mark married in 1980. She was involved with the Erie art community and various charities, such as MS Society, Northwest Humane Society and NPAA Scholarship event, and was know for her love of cats. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Galvin, brother Patrick Galvin and sister Staci Galvin. She is survived by her mother, Clarice Galvin and by her husband Mark Fainstein of Erie, brother Kevin (Marlene) Galvin of Greensboro, N.C., nieces Lindsay Munn of Charlotte, N.C., Laura Galvin of Greensboro, N.C. and Tara McQuaid of Memphis, Tenn., a nephew Dana Copeland (Jessica) of Erie. Debbie is also survived by grandnieces Lillian and Grace Copeland of Erie. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Debbie's life at the Brewerie, on Sunday, March 9th, 2:00-5:00 p.m. A brief memorial will be held at 2:30 p.m. In Debbie's memory, donation's can be made to the Northwest PA Humane Society, at 2507 Zimmerly Road, Erie, PA 16506.
