Deborah L. Noonan, age 61 of Erie, died Sunday January 5, 2014 at her residence.
She was born in Erie, November 19, 1952, daughter of the late James and Alice Carr Noonan.
Deborah graduated from Academy High School, class of 1969.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
Deborah was the head cook at Health South.
She loved the Buffalo Bills, soap operas, and Law and Order. Her biggest love, most of all, was her grandchildren and great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Larry “Chico” Carr.
Survivors include daughters: DeShandra Chappell of Erie, Anita Noonan-Martin, Columbus, OH, Tahia Carr, Pittsburgh; son, Ramon Carr, Bowie, MD and son-in-law Herbert Tyrone Martin, Columbus, OH; a brother Jim Noonan, Jr. of Erie, a sister Robin O’Connell and her husband Michael of Erie, and two stepchildren: Ramon Carr of Bowie, MD and Tahia Carr of Pittsburgh. Three grandsons: Robert L. Taylor, III, Rashaud and Rasaun Taylor; five granddaughters: Korey Graham, Raelonda and Rashawnda Noonan, Lahshanae and Charise Martin; one great granddaughter Debraya Martin, a niece, two nephews, two great nieces, one great nephew, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and her childhood friend, Judy Richardson also survive.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and are invited to attend services there on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Darren T. Peoples of Omega Harvest Ministries officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in care of Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, 602 West 10th Street, Erie PA 16502.
