Dawn Olszewski

Dawn M. Migdal-Olszewski, age 55, of Erie, passed away Friday, August 19, 2022 at UPMC Hamot after a 14-month battle with cancer.

She was born in Erie on April 8, 1967 a daughter of Thomas E. Migdal and Barbara Migdal-Beer of Erie.

Dawn graduated from Harborcreek High School in 1985 and earned her BSN from Gannon University.

She was a traveling nurse serving UPMC Altoona, Erie, and Pittsburgh as well at Mt. Nittany Medical Center in State College. Dawn also had worked at Select Specialty Hospital and Millcreek Community Hospital.

Dawn enjoyed going to the beach, traveling, and reading. She loved shopping and was very generous with gift giving. She was an avid Cleveland sports teams fan.

In addition to her parents Thomas Migdal and Barbara Beer, and step father, Albert Beer (Joanne), all of Erie, she is survived by two sons, Andrew and Adam Olszewski and their father, Paul Olszewski of Erie; her siblings, Thomas (Donna-Marie) Migdal II of Beaver, Pa, Christina Beer of Millcreek, Melissa (John) Chivers of Girard, Jennifer (Matt) Glenn of Leawood, Kansas and Amanda (Ben) Antolik of Fairview.  Dawn is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, Girard on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 11 am until the time of the service at 1 pm.
