Dawn Findlay

Dawn Emma Westcott Orr Findlay age 92, of Girard and formerly of Lake City, passed away Wednesday,

March 13, 2019 at Pleasant Ridge Manor

She was born on April 7, 1926, in Conneaut, OH a daughter of the late William M. and Sadie Johnson

Westcott.

Dawn graduated from Rice Avenue Union High School and worked at Pleasant Ridge Manor as a

Licensed Practical Nurse for ten years and then drove school bus for Fairview School District for over ten

years until her retirement. She was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Lake City.

In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by her first husband Lawrence A. “Zeb” Orr and her

second husband Samuel Findlay, and a grandson, Friday Orr.

She is survived by a daughter Sheryl Orr of Girard; five sons: Lawrence Orr of Erie, Michael (Debbie) Orr

of Cranesville, Scott (Sheila) Orr of Cambridge Springs, Sean (Germaine) Findlay of N.C., and Chris Findlay

of Philadelphia; 8 grandchildren: Jennifer Orr, Kristin (Travis) Radzelovage, Miranda (Chris) Cashdollar,

LT. Michael (Kathleen) Orr, Jr., Matthew Orr, Joseph Orr, Ian Findlay, and Eliza Findlay;

3 great grandchildren: Morgan and Aiden Radzelovage, and Addison Cashdollar; and many nieces and

nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street, GIRARD on Monday from 4 to

7pm and are invited to attended services there on Tuesday at 10am with Rev. Robert Burke officiating.

Burial in Springfield Cemetery.
