David Wood

David “Wes” Wood, age 84, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at Sarah Reed Senior Living.

He was born on December 20, 1937, in Ridgway, PA, to the late Albert and Marian (Tippet) Wood.

Following his graduation from Ridgway High School, Wes would serve our country in the United States Navy. He loved spending time with family. Wes was always there whenever you needed him and would do anything for anyone. He was an avid fisherman and loved his Cleveland Browns! Wes was a member of the American Legion Post 773.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, David and Michael; a sister, Marian Marazza; and a brother and sister-in-law, Clifford and Lucy Wood.

Leaving behind to cherish his memory are a son, Kevin (Dolly) Moore, of Billings, Montana; grandchildren, Nicholas, Allyson, Harlow, Hayley and Logan; a brother, Gordon Wood; a sister, Judy (James) Martin; brother-in-law, Lou Marazza; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. Wes also leaves behind his ex-wife, Donna and good friend, Mae Hendricks.
