David Wheeler

David W. Wheeler, Jr., age 55, of Albion, passed away Sunday December 18, 2016 at Pleasant Ridge Manor.

He was born in Erie on December 4, 1961, a son of Dorothy Stevens Wheeler and the late David W. Wheeler, Sr.

David attended Northwestern High School and had worked at Blasco Berry Insurance for many years. He was a member of Keepville Methodist Church.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, David W. Wheeler III and two sisters: Diane Lee Copeland and Brenda Lee Turner.

David is survived by his son, Jason Shank of Waterford and eight siblings: Mary Rice of Springboro, Sandra Hyde and her husband Thomas of Springboro, Betty Friday of Michigan, Susan Daggett of Ohio, Nora Kinney and her husband Glenn of Albion, Karen Bocianowski and her husband Joe of Albion, Joseph Wheeler of Albion and Ivana Frasier and her husband Billy of South Carolina. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Tuesday at 6pm at Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, Girard with Reverend Byron Gurnee officiating.
