David Weaver

David J. Weaver, age 61, of Girard, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Pleasant Ridge Manor surrounded by his family.

He was born in Lancaster, PA on February 9, 1955, a son of the late Norman W. and Nancy J. Wendtz Weaver, Sr.

After graduating from Aberdeen High School, he worked as a sandblaster in Maryland. He later worked for Flex-Y Plan in Fairview for 17 years.

David loved his yearly bus trips to Atlantic City.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Karl Weaver.

David is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lois Peters Weaver; a brother, Norman Weaver and his wife Phyllis of Melborne, FL. He is also survived by 2 step daughters: Cheryl Deal and her husband, Ed of Clintoville,PA and Marge Hedderick and her husband, Don of Springfield, PA; 2 step sons, John Burns and William Burns and his wife, Stacy. David is further survived by 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. Girard.

Services were private and held at the convenience of the family.
