David Scheuer

     David P. Scheuer, 66, of Lake City, PA, died on Monday, March 12, 2018, at Pleasant Ridge Manor.  He was born on June 17, 1951, in Erie, PA, son of the late Edmund and Maryella Weaver Scheuer.  A 1969 graduate of General McLane High School, Edinboro, PA, Dave was an Electrician for IBEW Local 56.  He previously worked for General Electric and Zurn Industries.  He was a member of 400 Gun Club and the Waterford Gun Club.  Dave loved nature and spending time in the outdoors including camping in Springboro and enjoying campfires and riding his tractor.  He liked watching old western movies and loved his cat "Tonto".
     Survivors include his wife, Constance Rose Pyle Scheuer; a daughter, Cathryn Burke and husband James of Parkesburg, PA; two sons, William Scheuer and fiancé Rebecca Quinet and Matthew Scheuer and companion Kyarra, all of Lake City; a sister, Suzanne Leone and husband Chuck of Erie; four brothers, Dennis Scheuer and wife Sue, John Scheuer and wife Mary and James Scheuer and wife Kathey, all of McKean and Gerald Scheuer of Erie; a granddaughter, Eva Burke of Parkesburg, PA; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
     Please join the family in celebrating the life of David on Sunday, March 18, 2018, from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Francis Ushers Club, 9085 Main Street, McKean.  Memorials may be made to Pleasant Ridge Manor, Alzheimer's Unit Fund, 8300 West Ridge Road, Girard, PA 16417.      
     Arrangements have been entrusted to the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle Street, Erie, PA.
