David Rothrock

David G. Rothrock, age 85, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Independence Court of Erie. He was born in Erie, April 5, 1937 to the late George and M. Louise DeVincent Rothrock. David was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School, and Erie Business School; He proudly served in the United States National Guard for 11 years.

He worked for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, serving as the Regional Director of the Department of Community and Economic Development until his retirement in 2002. David loved to travel all over Pennsylvania, he would volunteer at Shriners Hospital, and enjoyed riding his bike, and spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife Kathie (Ruhl) Rothrock, his daughters, Kirsten Beall, Dawn Marie (Michael) Cummings, Valerie Davis, Laurie Beall, M. Amelia Rothrock, and nine grandchildren. He is further survived by his brothers, Robert (Nancy) Rothrock of Ohio, and Thomas Rothrock of Colorado.
