David Roos

David E. Roos, age 58, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, April 5th, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital, following g a lengthy illness.

He was born in Erie on April 21, 1958, a son of the late, Edward J. and Adia Verno Roos.

David attended McDowell High School and worked at Lincoln Foundry for many years. He enjoyed computer games, fishing, bowling, and also liked to watch wrestling. His family was most important to him especially his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Cooper Roos, two daughters, Christine Kirchgatter (Scott Dixon) and Kara Weunski (Jeffrey) and two grandchildren, Nathan Kirchgatter and Jacob Weunski. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street, on Sunday from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m.

Further services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
