David Mayhew

David Michael Mayhew, age 52, of Erie, passed away on Thursday December 16th, 2021.  He was born on December 9, 1969 in Erie to the late Carl and Violet Norman Mayhew.

David was graduate of Cathedral Preparatory and obtained his BS in Psychology at Gannon University.  He was an avid sports fan especially the Minnesota Vikings and Cleveland Indians.  He loved, music, movies and would quote many movie lines. He enjoyed a good laugh and had a great sense of humor. David volunteered at the Erie Veterans Memorial hospital.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He will be remembered and sadly missed by his family.   He is survived by his brother William Mayhew and his wife Amy of Erie and his sister Carol Mamrak and her husband George of Pittsburgh, PA.  He is also survived by his two nieces, Crista and Carly Mamrak of Pittsburgh, Pa and two Aunts, Lucretia Hummel of Philipsburg, PA and Donna Mayhew of Woodland, PA and several cousins.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Road, on Monday, December 20, 2021 from 3 p.m. until the time of service there at 5 p.m. with Deacon Denis Coan officiating.

Private inurnment will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery Columbarium at the convenience of the family.
