David Leschorn

David A. Leschorn age 78, of Erie, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015 at Millcreek Community Hospital.

He was born in Rochester, New York on January 8, 1937, a son of the late Alexander and Marion Edith Steinline Leschorn.

David graduated from Webster High School and received his BS degree from Clarkson University: School of Engineering. He continued graduate work at both RIT and Penn State University. He was a self-employed engineering consultant.

He enjoyed bicycling and working on bicycles, currently he was working on over 30 of them. He enjoyed playing the trumpet and had 28 horns in his collection. David attended Westminster Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Damascus Temple Shrine in Rochester New York.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Moore Leschorn and a brother, Paul A. Leschorn of Cape Vincent, NY.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street, (at Powell Ave.) Erie, PA 16506 on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 4:00 p.m. Private burial will be in White Haven Memorial Park in Pittsford, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Erie Shriners Hospital for Children 1645 W. 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
